I see people complain or almost brag about how heavy their car is in threads all the time. Then, you ask them how they got it that heavy and those are the general answers.

Well, I figured as much on some of those, but still seems a bit heavy. But, I guess if you add it up, comes out about right, especially if he has added a 9" or Dana 60. But damn 3900LBS...that's alot of weight.

I just took a customers 98 M6 Formula (fully loaded, nothing gutted), 1/4 tank of gas, nitrous bottle, and 17's, and with me in it (220 LBS) Car went 3530.

I see you have lightweight wheels, and PROBALY aftermarket suspension(ie lighter) than stock stuff, so.....where is your weight coming from????
It's a full weight '98 car (steel gas tank). Only things removed are ABS, EGR, AIR, windshield washer tank and spare tire/jack. Only real weight reduction is wheels/tires. Things added:

-iron block
-cage
-sfc's, full length adj tq arm, lca's, phb, ds loop.....all mild steel
-moser 9", nodular center, 35 spline, det locker
-3" steel drive shaft
-nitrous system (10lb bottle)
-standalone fuel system for nitrous
-I weigh 215lbs
-3900lb was with me and half tank of fuel
