Mine is holding up to a lot of abuse (knock on wood)

I havent heard too many good things about the true trac either...However a couple buddies of mine and myself included have detroit's and Ive yet to see one breaK from abuse. Mines in a mustang but my buddies have them in off road trucks, mudding vehicles, and rock climbers, theyve destroyed eatons true tracs etc, but Ive yet to see them breaking a detroit. Theyre a little noisy but they never wear out theyre basically 2 big springs pressing together and aprt against 2 big gears...

I love my 35 spline Soft Locker (detroit locker) It really isnt bad at all just the occasional pop but if you learn how to drive with it the locker is pretty painless.
