I have a track only car and use the horn buttons (no need for a horn when my car is this loud and not on the street). Just cut the horns out and tracked the wire leading to them and connected it to the T-brake. I put an inline switch that brakes the circuit to prevent me from activating the tbrake (hitting the horn button) when I don't intend to.

you can wire up one of the sterring wheel control buttons to use for a brake. We have done it on a few of our customer cars, we use the mode button for either nitrous or trans brake.

I would remove that and use a stereo button and a relay! That looks tacky with the zip ties. If you could cleanly mount the plate in that hole with no visible mounts it would pretty cool.
