Default driveshaft loop for cars with duals?

i need a driveshaft loop for my car. problem is, the duals are in the way of a normal loop for an f-body. what did you guys with duals do? can you just buy the round part of the ds loop from somewhere (where would i find this?) and then weld it onto the torque arm? or is there another better way?

thanks

nic,

here's a link to the thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/120647-pic-my-dual-exhaust-kooks-x-pipe-atr-mufflers-speed-inc-install.html

from the sounds of it i will have to make some sort of modification to whatever i get. i was kind of hopping for a loop that would fit without working it over. can you buy just a loop from somewhere to just weld on the torque arm? if so where? i don't feel like shelling out $100+ for a part that dosn't fit and i have to modify. i'd rather just make a ds loop myself for a lot cheaper if i'm going to be doing that.

here is an idea....

buy a small piece of 3.5 inch or 4 inch pipe...cut off about 3 inches...

get some stock steel plate and weld it on the outside to fit it on the botton of the car...

then weld that to the floor plan or have it meet up around the crossmember area...

shouldn't be that expesive and would make a nice little project...
