Default Grand opening of Outlaw Pontiac Drag Series.com

www.outlawpontiacdragseries.com

The OUTLAW PONTIAC DRAG SERIES is an independent organization based on the East Coast. Most of our OPDS racers come from the PA, MD, and VA area, with Mason Dixon Dragway in Hagerstown, MD as our home track. Currently, we have many racers with 60's and 70's cars participating in the "Warrior" class, but we are reaching out to LS1tech.com to bring in more late model Pontiac racers into our series. We also need your help developing relationships with late model sponsors. If you can help with that, please contact webmaster@outlawpontiacdragseries.com. We want to invite everyone who is an avid Pontiac enthusiast to freely visit our website and take part in the fun.

On our website you will find our OPDS Schedule, OPDS Photo Album, Race Results, the invaluable Pontiac Event's Calendar, and of course our many Forums. If you want to join into conversation about Pontiacs, visit our OPDS Chat Room or post in our Forums.

We would also like to invite you to be a part of our Outlaw Pontiac Drag Series, the only Pontiac Drag Racing Series on the East Coast. We are supported by the finest Local and National Sponsors in the business. OPDS is a loosely bound organization of Pontiac dedicated racers. There are no fees or complex rules to join our group, just a devotion to the world of Pontiacs.

We offer two classes: Outlaw Street consists of everything from a Firebird, Grand Prix, Fiero, Sunfire, Vibe, to the Aztek. Generally, everyone runs 11-16 seconds in this class. These cars must be registered, have mufflers, and DOT approved tires. That's it. The Outlaw Warrior class consists of everything from trailored 8-second car to a 13 second street car. NHRA rules apply for both classes. If your Pontiac has a Traditional Pontiac power plant, Corporate power (LT1/LS1/LS6), or factory installed power (Olds), there is a place for you in our program.

If you want to enter the OPDS Points Race Series, sign up early by hitting the first race of the season. Racers must participate in at least 5 points races to qualify for year end prizes. Check the schedule! Plan ahead! A one-time-per-year fee of $15 will make you eligible for over $7500+ in cash, prizes and sponsor awards, 6 issues of our mini newsletter, as well as year end cash and prizes presented at our annual banquet. And remember- your first race with us is FREE entry (excluding a $10 gate fee).

If you want to follow the OPDS happenings, but are not able to race with us, we can send you 6 color issues of the newsletter for free. Email opdsnewsletter@outlawpontiacdragseries.com with your name and address and some personal info to get on the mailing list. You can also read the latest Newsletter online or download it in .pdf format (black and white only).

So, come and join us. Registration takes only a minute. You will be asked for a Username, Password, and Email address. Click "Submit", and you will be sent an email. Go check your email and click the "Activation" link and your set! Come back to the site and "Login". We only ask that your Username be your Real Name OR sign up with your "Handle" and then enter your Real Name in your "Profile". Race car, Show car, Street car, Spectator- we would love to have you!

i see the rules say any pontiac motor installed from the factory. i assume it doesn't have to be stock cubes?

also, a lot of 6 speed cars wont be able to attend these events since there is no approved bellhousing for the faster cars (im not 100% familiar with NHRA rules). just an FYI for ya.
