Looks great Tom, How hard was it to get the roof panel off without breaking it? I''m going to be stripping my car down this winter for some serious weight reduction and upgrades.

y2k_ta Tom, if you need another rough concept sketch like I did for the Red Rocket for the Firebird....well, I know a guy

'93-'97 era 'bird right? I see the rubber grommet for the fuel line on the driver's-side fender well.

You basically will just need to replace the roof panel. I have heard of hot piano wires and stuff from body shops being able to do it but we could not take it off without breaking it. I need to find a replacement roof still.

That thing looks SICK! Wow serious project there and done right. Swiss cheese mod on the sail panels and forward pillars I like it alot.

I've never taken a t-top roof off, but I have taken off a hardtop roof which im sure is a lot harder. We used piano wire, a winsheild tool that is basicly a razor blade on a long flat handle, and a lot of patience. Got it off in one piece but it took forever.

i assume that liberty in that last picture was not put there by mistake lol.

awesome, but what organization will allow a non-OEM style manual trans in SS/DR

Not sure. I know ORTC doesn't, but I'm giving major props to Tom if hes going that route. This will be my new favorite radial car if thats the case!
