Wow!! Work of art. Best of luck with the rest of the build, not that you need it!

Did you make the floor lower than stock? I know most of us have to bolt our seats directly to the floor with a roll cage due to space issues, and I thought it looked as if you'd done that to this car. That would help out a lot with headroom.

Stenod mounting the oil tank: (notice my very substantial paper motor plates! LOL!!)

The start of the turbo mounting. Here Stenod is combining the oil drain and the mount. Yes there is additional support to be added to the turbo also.

Looks good, seems like the class is moving towards pro-mod style cars.

The money shot, is pretty much an outlaw 10.5/promod type car if I've ever seen one.

So, now that snowmobile season is over for Stenod Racing the race car can get back on track!

What to do about a Torque Arm? I was sure that a custom one was going to be required. BMR Extreme has done well for me in the past and every effort was made to try to make it work but with the strange ultra case and fab 9 there really is no good way to make it do what I want. Thanks to Bret at BMR for all my harassing calls and tech questions, your advice has been VERY helpful even when it was not concerning your parts! More to come from BMR later. So a friend had recently purchased a new T/A from Racecraft. Upon initial inspection we figured it would not work so a custom one would still be in order; until last night. A few minor modification to the attachment brackets and Stenod made it work. This really is a precision piece!

Did I say a friend let me borrow it to see if it would work? I guess I have been known to commend ere a part or 2 in the past! Just ask Harlan and Derty!

Mark from Racecraft, I will be calling you shortly!!

Gluski going to town!

My VFN hood showed up 4 days after I ordered it! Honestly I have been using all of Joe Van O's stuff exclusively but I really like the look of VFN's new hood and clearance it provides for better vision. From stories I have heard in the past; fit and finish may be a concern but after receiving this hood we were surprised with the craftsmanship and quality. Even the packaging was very strong and secure. It is obviously heavier than my carbon hoods but other than that I would highly recommend this product!

Car looks really good, thanks for the updates! I have one of those hoods sitting here, and I must agree that the fit/finish really is pretty good, one of the better ones I have seen.

What nose did you put on the car, is that a VFN part too, or something else?

That torque arm is a piece of art work, along with everything else.

Aah, so a 2500 dollar piece that took ya a year to get

Nice looking, I am about to chop my entire front end off and refab with small round bar... if that was an easily available part, I'd have considered it.

I asked one of the VFN guys at our local drag expo about getting one of their hoods in carbon. They said they could do it no prob.
