Weigh it.. I'm curious. If it's 3100, and you don't see an 11.30, then you have a serious issue, that's my take on it right as things stand.

I will as soon as the trans is back in. And I was hoping for low 11s all said and done. When he said he bet it wouldn't go 11.80s, I was kind of dumbfounded. I've had people say they could even see it going high 10s depending on weight.

LEt me know when you take it to the track. I would assume you are going to Milan? I want to be there, and if you don't have a video guy, I do, so we can get video of your runs. This must be a Mustang douch bag you are areguing with?

If anything the added weight of the 9" will slow it down over the 10 bolt.
Gear swap and no converter change? Must be like me; short on cash.

Why would I change the converter? It has a 1000 dollar 8" Ultimate unit in it that seems to work well with the setup. The 4.10 just didn't seem like it was going to be enough for the RPM the motor spins to and the tire size.

Oh I don't know. Guess I'm somewhat of a perfectionist; just don't have enough time to perfect.

Bottom 11s, or something is wrong... In good weather, 10s all day.

Granted traction is there.

You should see bottom 11s pretty easy at 3100-3200lb. I'm also curious to know what it weighs as well. Man I wish my race weight was 3100-3200lbs.

1 - With enough money you can make a combine do wheelies and go fast.

2 - Fast means nothing if the driver cannot repeat the run to win.

3 - Some people are good mechanics, some are good drivers, few are both.

4 - Just because someone else got some parts to go fast for them does not mean they will get you the same results.

5 - Until you get it down the track, it's just another dream to talk and speculate about.

i am guessing you have all the basic bolt ons too, like ls6 intake, lid, ram air, p&p tb, UD pulley, etc...cause those can add up to a decent amount of hp too...

but with a ms4 cam only i would hope you can break 11.8s...i mean i went 10.9s with positive DA in my piece 230 cam...even add a half sec. and you are still 11.4s...

take the bet before he backs out haha, wish he was closer we could bet on you going low 11s and then a smaller cammed, geared car going 10s...that would really rack his brain...

It has a Victor JR carb style intake, and carb style 4500 throttle body, so it should make more power over my LS6 setup with the longer runners. I sure hope I'd break 11.80s with this setup. If not I'm doing something wrong.

Increase the bet, spank his ***, then take his ole lady out for a good dinner (make the later part of the bet ). How low into the 10's did the slobra go?
Your setup should be more than sufficient to take his money and run!
If you wanna get a good laugh check my sig for 10 sec run vids where we spank a mustang Rousch 427R ! He was one pissed of camper after he got his *** handed to him by a 9 year old Z28. He had been talkin **** bout how fast his car was and that no camaro or vette could touch his ride.

If my car can do 11.623 Stock Internal, without full-bolt ons at a ~3300 w/driver race weight, you *should* be able to hit low 11's with that setup.

It's all in the launch.

I'm buying a tire soon and going for high/mid-10's myself on a 100 shot. The weather is right, if it would just stop raining.

I'm gonna make it my goal to beat your Cam Only ET with my SI + 100 shot car, just for that.

I would think with your setup you should run atleast 11.1-11.30. There ford people around here act the same way. There no LS1 can touch this Cobra. Good luck and take his money.
