heres mine on 15x12 alumastars with a 5'' backspace ans 28x13.50x15's. Ill have pics tomorrow of a 15x12 with 5.5 bs and 325's so it'll be tucked a bit more

I want that same look for my car someday. How much clearance do you have between the tire and the LCA? When you swap to a coilover, do you keep the same location as the shock, use the spring perch location, or move it completely?

look forward to anymore pics you have as well.
I do have a bit more room to lower the car an close the whel gap out back and get a little more tuck. I'd say i have a bout 3/8'' between the tire and control arm.

didnt realize there was this shadow on the fender in the pic kindof hard to see the lip

With an 48" rear end what bs should I get? I'm thinking that 5"bs should work fine with the 315 tires...car was already started when I got it and the rearend, ladder bars and mini tubs all came with the car

I went with 15x12's with a 325 tire and it really seemed to stretch the side wall. even at 10 psi the side wall was real stiff. wish i would have went 15x10.

now i have hoisier 15x12x29 slicks and they fit nice. but i could not find a dr that fit well on this wide of rim.

Also would there be any negative side effects on traction by changing the shape or curve of the side wall as compared to the 10" rim? BTW this would be on a 3400# low 9 / high 8 second street car.

the negative concern is the side wall becomes very stiff. and most all of the 325's rec a 10" rim width

Tire Size: P325/50R15
Tread Width: 11.75"
Diameter: 27.7"
Circle: 87.2"
Recommended Rim: 9-11"
Measured Rim: 10"
Section Width: 13.2"
Tire Weight: 29

17130QT - Hoosier Quick Time DOT Drag Tires Details
10.5" Tread Width

Overall Tire Diameter: 27.8"
Average Roll Out/
Circumference: 87.5"
Tire Section Width: 13.1"
Required
Wheel Width: 8" to 10"

Note: Bold type indicates measuring rim.

the only ones i can find are the larger rims like the 315 in a 18" rim call for a wider rim. It did not work well for me is all i am saying.
