Summit 3way Drag Shocks
Has anyone here shown any concrete gains w/ these shocks? It it to my understanding that they are just re-packaged Comp. Engineering pieces. I am looking to clean up my 60' this season on my otherwise stock suspension car. Over the last week I have added the shocks, re-location brackets, SFC's and removed my sway bar.
I am looking for people who have either shown gains or had issues with these shocks. It is to my understand that the Summit brand shocks are just Re-labeled Comp. Engineering pieces, so I sprung for them. I am not here to hear about how Strange, HAL, or QA1 are much better for the money, that is all I could find using the search.
Also, what are you guys setting these shocks at? I assume the "F" is 50/50, which is where I plan on setting them. Also, where would you guys recommend I set the stock LCA's in the re-location brackets?
Like I said, any real info would be great!

there are not the CE there are doetsch shocks.

will say it right on the shock, they list the PN as only fitting up to 3rd gens, or LT1 Fcars but they fit are cars too. They just exstend a little longer, so the rear end will hang lower if you jack up the body. Ther settings are diffrent too, so don't use what the CE settings are. I called and got the setting, set then at 50/50 and with changes to a spoll at the same time gained almost a tenth and a half is the 60s. Went from 1.55-1.57s to 1.47-1.43, but my tru-trac was starting to act up.

I got a pair of them sitting in the garage. Haven't had the time to install them yet. Just going to try the 3 settings on it and see how it does on my car. If it doesn't work for me, I'm only out $70, so it's not a huge loss.
