More like 99.998% in this case. Lol. I might just start searching for bigfoot instead...

Tell him to practice a couple times on the street just outside his house/apt. That way when it blows something up you guys can just push it back home. 2hrs is a long way from home.

Your brother must have the IQ of a plant, if he thinks his clutch or rear is gonna survive that.

He just wasn't up to date on the rear end portion of our cars. He saw this thread and is now going to launch around 2500 and feather it out. Anything is better than the tire spin he has now. 245' all weather tires.

If its a stock clutch Id try it. I launched at 4500 a ton of times and the clutch would slip just enough to let the rear live. Aftermarket clutch say bye bye to the 10bolt.

Then I put in a Street Twin clutch and a DANA S60 and the very first 5k dump on a dead hook I exploded the Trans main shaft.

used to do 5k slips on a regular basis. Never had a prob. clutch went b4 the rear.

5K+ on slicks is the only way to get a bolt on 6 speed to 60'.

I used to do it at 6200 on a 200 shot@ 3600lb raceweight. Good ol moser 12 bolt didnt like it after about 50 times and broke the ring gear taking the main shaft in the T-56 with it. After that I dropped a bunch of weight and went th400.

I was for the last year or so. I think I'm just going to man up at this point. Tired of spinning.
