I mounted mine on the front of the engine.

The brackets for these coils are easy to make, and you can mount them just about anywhere.

Sweet set up. Did you just cut your coil back wires and lengthen them.

Wow Greg that's way out of the way, but I'd worry about a rock kicking up and hitting something, damaging one of the wires, etc. It's a neat way to get them out of the way I will give ya that. I am looking at making a bracket for each side to mount the coils to. Something out of a "c" of alum, or something along those lines. I like where Carlos mounted his on the frame rail, I actually want to put them on the firewall on each side, be nice to put them inside the cabin, but I don't know how good of an idea it would be to have all 4 plug wires touching each other coming thru the firewall in one hole on each side, that seems like a risk for having them short out, or short to the firewall.

All that room under the dash for stuff, I'd love to just put them inside the car.

That's pretty cool but it won't work for me. Intake will absolutely be in the way.

Can the stock coils be swapped out to do this. Obviously MSD and the truck coil packs can be relocated, but I have been told that the stock, don't throw as much fire as the trucks? So just wondering if anyone has done this, and if everything seems to be working ok.

I have mine relocated to where the A/C used to be. Made a bracket to hold the coils and cut my own wires. I have had no problems with spark or anything else electrical!!! Sorry for the blurry Pic!!!

Does someone make a kit for the truck coils bracket? I have looked everywhere. I would have to be where the coils bolt to alum or metal?
