Talked to local Impact store this morning and was told they are in middle of lawsuit so until it is final no track can tell you you cannot run because of Impact safety equipment. And if Impact is found liable they will recall the products. So until then I am going along as normal in both my car and daughters JR dragster.

Unless something changes before April 27 then NHRA tracks will be refusing to allow you to race.

This is so stupid because it's ALL based on Money and Royalties. There's nothing wrong with Impact's products, it's just the fact that SFI wasn't getting paid for their "tags" and renewals (which are a load of **** anyways).

Impact makes saftey equipment-SFI makes tags and is going to be sued by Impact Racing on the saftey issue.Drove to there corporate headquarters in Brownsburg, Indiana this morning.

and sfi ia the saftey board for ihra,nhra,nmca,psca,ortc,orsca north an south,otta,mako,nmra and so on..guess what sfi says no go your not makeing a pass..it dont matter who is sueing or not..you cant make a pass in a 8 second car unless the cage has its sfi inspection sticker...they where buying an making fake stickers in china and putting them on your parts..meaning they where skipping out on sfi looking at there **** and testing every x amount of products.

All restrictions have been lifted. Impact is 100% legal and safe to use per SFI:

My Fire Suit from them was bought in 2008 but on the tag where all that type informaton goes-was left blank.

i called sfi just now anything from 09 and up is good.... also impact is now owned my mastercraft.. good luck for them... what a bad reputation to buy ..
