I ditched the dam a few years ago. My plan is to completely remove the rad support and make some tabs to hold the rad in place. Then put in a piece of 1.5" X .065" 4130 tubing between the frame rails right in front of the radiatior to maintain support in the front end.

Yeah I'm in the process of making a homemade mandrel bender for .5-4". I have all the necessary hydraulic stuff I just need to get the dies. I'm also going to get some inconel to practice welding on... When I go turbo I plan on doing a custom inconel hotside

Well... my new years resolution is to finish the car completely before putting the cam in so I know what it's capable of. Finally got it up to my shop to start cutting it's face off...

Lincoln 220 I think. I'll confirm tomorrow. We've had it for over a year and this is actually the first project it's been used on. No one here knows how to use it and oil prices killed my plans to get my foreman and I certified so YouTube is teaching us lol.

Got a little more practice with the TIG

It's not the prettiest thing but I'm confident enough now to at least tack everything together. Most of it's done, just need to figure out how to mount the headlight brackets and the bumper mount.

It's kinda hard to see what's going on here with the light supports still in the way. Hopefully I'll have the rest of it done tomorrow.

I've decided to do a one piece front end setup. Going to take a little more time but it'll make things easier in the future. I'm also thinking about hinging it at the front so the whole front end can pivot up. Anyone ever seen that?

Got some of the clutter out of the way, don't mind the cheesy brackets in the front, they're just temporary for positioning.

Thanks! Yeah I miss that car too. I remember buying this one then seeing you put the old one up for sale like a week later... I almost cried.. It's funny, I sold that car to you and bought a bike, then sold the bike to buy the same exact car, then bought another bike. Live and learn I guess. Do you know where that car's at now?

No sir I sure don't. I got rid of it back in 2009 and never saw it again. I just bought another F-body a little over a month ago though to have as a project.
