Yeah my friend took a little video but he takes forever to do **** so no telling when I'll get it. It runs pretty rough but I think there is still some nasty old fuel in it.

yeah... 2-year old fuel might do that.... so much you should drain it?

Well I fushed it out until the pump started pulling air but there was still a little left in the tank. I figured 5 gallons of fresh fuel with a splash of old **** wouldn't hurt anything. It may also be the residue from cutting all the fuel lines. Hopefully it clears out after a little driving.

I let the car run for about 15 minutes today and it seems to have cleared it out, it's running much smoother now. Also got some pics of the engine bay so far. It needs a good cleaning though.

glad to hear it's running smooth dam 2 years thats a long time to be w/out.

I like the rear mount on you'r fuel preasure reg. & sender. cool little battery you have there.

now I see the missing front bumper surport kindof riskie on a street car.

?1.for a weight reduction car why did'nt you ditch the ABS control module when you installed the brake line lock? and just have a porporsionale valve?

?2.doe's the breather blow out oil mist? do you have a PCV?

?3. I bet that big cone air fliter makes alot of noise?

?4. was there a reason you relocated the fuse boxs?

be safe down there in Columbia, ? do you have a armed escorte?

Originally I wanted to keep the ABS but it will be deleted soon.

It hasn't blown any vapor out of the filter yet but I'm sure it will.

Yes the air filter is very loud.

I just like the way the fuse boxes look in this position, a friend did it on his car and I liked the way it looked so I did mine.

yes there is a replacement for those without power steering coolers - autozone can get the number.

I've done this also. I also went electric pump which necessitated new lower hose as well.... that was a find-and-fit job there!

No telling. My Colombia job got pushed back till after thanksgiving at least so at this point I'm hoping to have the car driving by next weekend. Then just need to break in the clutch and hit the track. I just realized I need to pull my axles to get the stock caliper brackets off and I have no idea how to do that so I need to do a little bit of searching. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

pull the cover, pull the abs sensors (10mm), pull the 'bone' locking bolt, pull the bone, push the axles in, drop the c clip, pull the axles out... this is assuming you've already removed the wheels and calipers from the brackets...

9" brake backing plates are retained by press on axle bearings

So how do I get them off?

Another quick question. My coolant catch can has ports on the top and bottom, should I connect the hose to the bottom and cap the top?

undo the retainer nuts and bolts use a slide hammer to knock the axle out shouldn't take alot of effort, poor mans version is a steel wheel with 3 nuts loose.

Ok so after I get it out will I be able to put it back in with the new retainer plate and be done? Or will I need new seals and a shop to press it back in?
