Well I got the old brackets off and found out that I need spacers for the strange bracket in order to hold the bearing flush with the housing... They'll be here Monday and the car should be on the road Tuesday.

Suspension is done but I had to order a few more things to get the brakes together.

turn your shocks so the adjustable tab is on the inside... and your drives side is much lower than the passenger...

Oh also got one more quick question. Strange calls for NLGI #1 bearing grease but all I can find is NLGI #2, is that ok? And what's the difference?

Nice! My Aerospace Component brakes required me to cut the stock spindle mounts for calipers off...

I just spent most of the evening hogging out the holes for my new rear discs to fit over my 5/8" wheel studs... One down...

I've got a problem with my belt though, it's hitting an alt bracket bolt...

Anyone have any Ideas?

IIRC, your routing is wrong. I believe, off the top of my head, the belt goes completely around the crank and then wraps the idler and back to the alternator. I will verify once it stops pouring down outside. That is unless you have changed something with the stock belt routing.

All I did was delete my ps pulley. I looked at my friends car and his was routed the same, although his could be wrong too. The difference is my balancer is smaller so mine hits and his clears.

Here ya go, yea, the belt goes around the crank, then idler, and then the alternator.

If I can see correctly, you've dumped the power steering and have an electric water pump also... Didn't see an A/C compressor so that means you've only got the alternator and the crank to deal with (same as me.... go with this...

provides tension adjustability and reduces pulley losses...

is it the bracket or the bolt head, could just shave down the bolt head as long as a wrench will still grab it

heads up, the belt if you go crank/alt only with no pulleys is an odd size so I measured and went Duralast 340K6 . . . GL
