So far my best is stalling it just over idle to kinda preload or take the slack out of the suspension. 1.57 60 foot. Leaving off idle was a 1.58

i have stock suspension, the best 60ft. i ever had was 1.66.usually it's around 1.79.running m.t. drag radials 255-50 16.how low of a tire pressure can you go on these tires?i usually run 16-18 lbs.at the track.also the car will only hook up ,if i roll in the water box, and do a 1st to 2nd gear burnout. i tried the not going in the water box, doing a dry burnout,or dry hop, and ignited the tires at take off.i have 3.23 gears and 325 r.w.h.p.went 12.35 on the 1.79 60 ft.i beleive my best 60 was when i braked the car to when the tires wanted to start spinning.chris1313 , all i can say is WOW! awesome launch!

i think it depends on what timing your running. if you're foot breaking the car to a point in your tables where the timing is higher than where it's going to flash you probably wont see any gains by doing that because your timings going to drop as soon as you floor it. thats why on my lt1 foot breaking the car is always about 2 tenths slower. now if I decrease my timing in the proper map/rpm cell to where the timing spikes up when I floor it i might see some more gains off the foot break. check ur datalogger if you have one and see what happens to your timing at the line right around the launch.
