Why head studs over bolts, I have seen and heard of many people on here using head bolts with 200+ shots???

that's the gasket i have been running for awhile, always had good luck with it. Also had good luck with studs, I don't know why so many people can't get them to seal, I just use plain old rtv on them and it doesn't leak a drop.

I use felpro 1074 with the cheaper arp head bolts, spraying 250hp, going 9.4s with no problems.

Ouch. Those are what im running also so I hope they hold up for a while. I doubt many if any gaskets would have stood up to that though. That was some serious ****. Did you figure out what caused it?
