Scott, where is a run down of your mods to date?

What tire are you running? Pressure? Airbag?

Did you try different launch speeds other than the 2500?
I've had best results footbraking to about 1700-1800.

I also suggest running behind as many big tire cars as possible

Mike here is the run down on my setup

TSP lid,LS6 intake,ASP pulley,Free mods,Ported TB,Mac headers/ORY pipe,Cutout,PT 4400,4.10s,26x10x15 ET Drags,TSP cam 232/228 .574/.571 113 LSA,Ed wright tune,Full suspension, relocated battery, weld draglite skinnies and rears, front sway bar off, short belt, open air box and raceweight between 3365-3390. I thought about a homemade ram air mod but im not sure on them as far as gaining ET but i know the MPH will pick up with it.

I run the ET Drags at 16psi and by the end of the day i have to lower them to 14 psi but i think i hurt myself last time by lowering them that much because the 60fts. just got worse and i had no way of airing them back up. I have tried the airbag in the past with no luck at 15-20psi. I tried launching from 2200-2600 but i will try 1700-1800 next time along with a higher launch to see what the car likes best. My TCS 4400 liked to be left at a full foot brake but the yank may be different. I always try to get in behind the BIG tire cars

Scott, I see you are running a cut out, but are you keeping the cat back on the car?

If so you should ditch it. Thats a nice 40 pounds off of the car.
You should try some sort of ram air setup that only takes in outside air. I imagine with a gutted lower box you are getting in all kind of hot air as you are sitting at the line.

Did you do the collector mod to those mac headers?

Default good times

Scott long time no see, congrats on the new times glad to see you are still doing well. I know with the big stall you wouldn't see the full benefit but have you thought about spraying it? I should have my new car on the street within a month, I am waiting on all my mods to come in so I can do all of them at once, see you around...........Steve

Mike,i droped the muffler this past fall but i plan to add the collector and cut the ball flanges on the Mac headers and Y pipe and run a 3" pipe in it's place to open the exhaustup more.I was going to order a FTRA but with my tranny cooler mounted on the condinser i won't have the room. Shoot me a link to your ram air setup so i can print it off and try one of my own. I'm just trying to max out my setup before the warm air gets back to us in the south

Steve, long time no see I see your going to try your luck with a M6 car this time? As far as nitrous i built my setup to run NA with that only in mind because IMO anyone can run out and slap nitrous on a car and run fast but those who do on motor gain more respect in my eyes.

Scott, you should move your tranny cooler out of the ftra way. If you do a Futral-style ram air setup like I have you will have to move the cooler as well.

I moved my cooler into the compartment behind the foglight on the passenger side. Pull the fog lights and save 2 pounds

Here is my post on the ram air setup.

Trevor or Jason at TSP can set you up on the cam (232/228 .574/.571 113 LSA) The duration is high with some overlap and the lift is not so high that i worry about breaking my comp.918 valve springs.

Nice Times !!! I was wondering if you were shifting at 5800? Thought I read that.
I am going with 4.10's and had a few questions about what mph you have the shift points set at? I have 3.23's now and there gonna be way off.
I also see your makin it down the track with 26" tires, do you think 27's would help at all?
Thanks fore any help.

If you run a lockup switch you might get up to around 120mph

Wont affect your ET too much but it will look cool hehe

I shift at 6500 rpms. The 26x10 ET drags swell to around 27.3 at 118mph on my 15x8 weld draglite. I would think a 27" tire would be good also just that the 10" ET Drag will give you more sidewall and contact patch at the launch.

Mike,so far im going to cut the ball flanges off the mac's and add a flowmaster collector to open the exhaust more,FTRA if i can get some extra cash and i think the car has more left in it as it sets with a better 60ft and time on the new ed wright tune. I would love to catch a DA around -1600 to -1800 again but that would be luck if we can get a good cold front to move in on a friday and saturday to help with the DA If that all came together it could get real interesting FAST!! I got till mid march to find out but i would like to find out in the next 2 weeks I just hope that if i happen to cut the 1.4x 60ft. that the 10 bolt will hold up for ONE pass, that's all i want
