After the Moser 12 bolt (3.73s) and some suspension mods I finally got a chance to make some runs.
Ran a 10.4 at 131mph on a 100 shot....was pretty pleased with that. Went to the dual stage 100/100 and after a few runs whittled it down to the following:
1.447
6.509 @ 107.41
10.089 @ 137.61
Cut consistant 1.44 sixty foot with the T56/Ram clutch and 26" tall ET streets. Not too bad I guess. Next step is some 28" ET drags and another 50-100 hp of juice. Car is tuned up to the 150/150 so I have another 100 hp to play with for now.
And If that all goes good the third stage wet.
And the best part is I drove it 60 miles to the track and 60 miles back

Thanks Jason..and BTW I appreciate yours and Thunders help in rounding up some of the parts for the car. They all worked flawlessly.
I think I can go 9.99 with just s tire change to 28" ET drags...but the extra power wont hurt either

No problem Al, glad everything is working well for you.
Like John mentioned, the 28" ET Drag is night and day better than the 28", especially if the track ever gets to the point where it stops hooking well. It is a much more consistent tire. You may look into moving up to a 4:10 gear as well, but make sure you take into account what the extra 100hp jets will do for you in terms of MPH on the top end. I know you like racing from a roll on the street, so 3:73s will be better for that.
What were your RPMs going through the traps?

Nice run Al, good to see the times falling at the track. Are you setup to run 9.99 with your recent set of upgrades or are you just going to see what happens with the staff at BMP? Also, how low were you able to get your raceweight down to? I'm dying to get mine to the truck stop and on the scales.

congrats!!!
Granny shifting on the spray is nice and safe
BTW I think a 28 x 10 ET drag would work better with a 4.10 gear. (I beleive that is the combo Taner runs on his 9.6 Z28
I bet if you ran a 26x10 ET drag with the 3.73s you would have 9's right there if the track is hooking Especially with the extra 100 hp

I weighed the car on certified scales the other day and it was 3280 with both seats in it. Both seats together are about 110 lbs, drivers is 60 pass 50. I removed the passnger last night so that made raceweight of 3230 without me. I weight 190 lbs. So 3420 raceweight with driver.
I still need to get a jegs seat for the track...that will bring the weight down to 3380
then a lightweight batt....3355 or so
and about another 25 lbs off the nose...3330 looks like all Il be able to get out of it and retain all interior panels and full carpet etc. Id say those wieghts are accurate to +/- 10 lbs

All shifts were throttle up shifts though. The first run on the dual stage I bounced the limiter and had a less than stellar 1-2 shift. But on the 10.0 run its was as smooth as I have ever shifted. The tranny is cooperating right now on the 1-2 shift.
You need to get your motor together and then juice it with 650+hp and put some slicks on it...and tray shifting fast...lol. Its a completely different feeling than running around on 400 hp NA.
It aint as easy as I make it look

I have notes on the timeslips at home. Ill check them tomorrow and post it. If I remember they were pretty soft. Like 4 on thr fronts and i think 4 or 5 on the back. Probably could have gone a little softer...esp in the back. That big beefy BMR rear sway bar really tightens things up back there.
