They are new from Weld - under a grand per wheel.

In the picture... The gold ring unbolts from the rim. The rim has a flange that mates with the gold ring. Tire goes in between, amd gets sandwiched in between the flange and ring when bolted together. Quite simply it locks the bead of the tire onto the wheel.

i had problems with my tires spinning on the rim.it was a 10.5 mickey slick i drilled the rims and the tire didnt move any more but the tires lost ther air a week.i went back to a 325 dr and thay hook and hold air and dont spin on the rim.........make shure you have a stiff wall slick or the **** dont work right with a heavyer car.

I've done both and High Tack is the best route in my opinion, this stuff works great! If you decide to go with the screws make sure you clean up the holes good, use the shorter screws and put a dab of silicone in each hole before you put the screw in. One last trick is while the tires are off the rim, get some dawn or ajax dish washing liquid and completely the coat the inside of each tire 100% and let it dry in the sun (use a rag to wipe the liquid around), repeat this set about 3 times and it will either completely stop the leaks or drastically improve the situation. I use these methods on all sticky tires I run except for DRs,they seem to hold the air better. GL

I've done what you're doing with the green slime, put some of that on a rag and wipe the inside of the tire to put a THIN coating in the tire. I'm sure it moves around and whatnot over time, but it does wonders to stop leaks. Messy stuff though.
