Hey guys, Things arent happening to quickly around here!! But my racecraft rails finally arrived yesterday, so now I will be able to start to mount the hood. I want to finish up primming the cage and stuff first, and then I will make a start.
My Aussie car got a few new billet treats this week, and im still waitng for the remaing parts to come back from the metal polisher. He said that I will get them by the 16th, then I think that it should be good to go!!
Dennis hope you got some stuff done??
My man FUEL how are things going for you?? Have you got any updates??
Anyway, catch ya.

Hey Fuel, great to touch base with you again man!! Looks like you have been a busy boy..... the car looks amazing!! The bodywork looks awsome, im liking the black racecraft rear wing!! It has a nice stance and you have done a nice job of the rear wheel wells.... did you cut the bumper aswell as the body?? I also see a sunaco hood and lexan door glass, did you use the VFN glass doors or just put lexan in the stock doors?? Did you decide not to run the PROSTOCK hood?? Probably enough questions for one post...... but that is one nice timeslip there my man!! Looking at the time slip there is still more left in it and you said you still have 1 shot left..... very very nice!
Keep me posted with updates, catch ya.

Cool..... man I'm a big fan of the PROSTOCK scoop!! It looks killer all finished up, I wish you could just buy one like from VFN or something!! Good luck at bradenton.... I will now be googling footage of the day early the next week, I hope to see some footage of your car in the highlights. It looks like a good thing!!

Thanks for the link man...... I will stay tuned!! I got some stuff done yesterday, the cage and everything else apart from the engine mounts got a rattle can etch prime, and now look alot nicer. I will over the next week get the dummy engine and gearbox out and prime the mounts, it makes the end result alot easier to achieve " a clean piece of metal that is ready to prime". In stead of scouring it with acid to remove surface rust!! Just need a change of pace today, so I had a freshen up on STUDDERINS fitment of the sunnaco hood and am going to have a go at statring to fit it today!
Today you probably think........ we have a public holiday today so I could really get stuck into somethings!! Anyway catch ya.

I got the cage all in primer finally, and well didnt quite get the hood on. It took me awhile just to set the front end up again, then I looked for my masking tape....... and yep, ran out of that!
I got the lower rails on and one of the tops and got the side started. What a difficult and time consuming job it is to set the rails up. My damn fingers are to big to get behind the rails easily to put on the nylocks.
Anyway pic of the front end set back up

And one with the hood just sitting there, I just had to try it on

Now got to get the washers like studderin used for the dezus's and finish the job.
Anyway, catch ya.

Hey guys not much to update, but I now have both fender rails on and adjusted. I think that it should sit down nice with the Dezus's..... I got the washers yesterday, but neglected to get longer shafted rivits for the job. I will get some today and then I can mount the fastners and continue on.
I know STUDDERIN had trouble with mounting his hood....... but damn this so far seems to be the best fiberglass hood that I have ever fitted!!
Still got a few hours work on it, but so far so good.
Catch ya.

Hey guys, Things are going very slow with the car here! I spoke with RACECRAFTS Kody and Kyle yesterday, and after some carfull measuring we established why my fastners weren't pulling up. It appears they miss packed my order and sent me 0.42 springs insted of 0.375. They are a great company and have offered to send me the correct height springs and a new longer set of DZUS's which should work with my current installed springs. So either way they have me covered!! Man... that is what I like to see they back up there product with support and did so FREE of charge!

I have reshuffled my engine and gearbox and now I'm goiing to rework the firewall and midplate area. I just wanted the engine that bit lower, now it is as low as possible and gives just enough steering rack clearence. I now have to make a new gearbox mount, which will tie my gearbox to my subframe connectors and that will be the driveline position for good!!

I hope that you guys are getting more done than me!! Anyway catch ya.
