I'll try to get some picturs next time I'm by his shop. It's not the nicest looking thing, but it will do 2 things, quite well. First, go about 300 feet strait in sand/mud, very fast. Second, it does have the ability to relocate your lawn to about a block down the street, should that ever become nessassary.

I'll get one going sooner or later

I'll have to actually start taking more pictures.. that's my guilt. I get out and start working, and never bother to take any pictures....

Default 99 Camaro SS NHRA Stock Eliminator

I am in the final stages (hopefully within a month) of finishing up my 99 Camaro SS for NHRA stock class. We dynoed the motor and it made 553 Hp, which should be really competitive . It has been an experience, it appeares that every piece has to be hand fit for these cars! I built the full chromoly cage, subframes, adjustable torque arm, traction bars, lower control arms, motor mounts etc. It has a strange 12 bolt with QA1 double adjustable shocks and Strange four wheel brakes. It will weigh 3300 in B/SA in NHRA. I have pics I can post as soon as my account gets verified (im new).

I'd be very interested in seeing your stocker, and 553 at the crank for a "stock" motor, is pretty damn good I think

Sweet build! Stockers are so interesting to me.. So it has to be stock casting heads, but can be ported? Then the cam is lift limited or what?

Yes heads are limited to three angle valve job and cc, stock cam lift (.515) with any duration you want, stock intake and throttle body, stock compression pistons- JE, CP, Ross etc all make accepted pistons for this...There is also a list of aftermarket rods like manley pro series, etc, and stock oem crank. Heads, intake, etc have to be matching numbers for the year you run it as.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...s-rebuild.html

I'm going to give this a few more weeks, then I will consolidate all the posts with links into one at the top. So, if you have a build going on, get a link to it up here asap. I'll have one post at the top with all the links to it, and will leave this open for more people to put links to builds in, and continue to update the initial post as time goes on.

I will also try to search out some of the more popular builds and link them in the initial post as well, if nothing else to serve as a way to get some pic's of how others have done parts of their cars.

Keep them coming, we have a few good ones here!

Default 454 lsx man-

If you're looking for a nice setup that's reliable and can make some serious power check out the LSX block. If forced induction is your flavor then 1200+ hp is easy to obtain. Check out my blog http://lsx454.blogspot.com/ or my youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlv8xqia2Q0

Have a good one-
