1.7 on bfg 275's

they are old and starting to dryrot around the edges.

ive only done about 8 passes with the stall and these tires. Cant dead hook the car at wot. so I had to try and find the sweet spot to not spin. and this was very low throttle

I believe the autos have a 2nd gear start function (for traction control) where if you put the shifter in 2nd versus drive or OD it will start in 2nd gear. My Formula does that.

I've been 1.70 on a set of off-brand 275/60 tires, but that was a while ago before the M/T and such drag radial craze.

One of my buds ran a 1.7 on bald passenger tires with a stall/gears. On stock stall/gear ive cut 1.92. Going to be disappointed if I cant get 1.7s out of them with a stall.

quick spin to clean em off and warm up a tiny bit. i like to run them around 20-22 psi. Slip the clutch and find a sweet spot.

Yeah, I don't get them wet. I do a quick spin as well to clean them off. No big burnouts for me. They are goodyear f1's on the back 275-40-17. Better traction than the 245's that were on it before with the stock wheels. I'll have to make sure next time it's at 20psi instead of 22 like I did before. Because when I went to fill them back up they were at 24 (I'm sure it was because of the heat from my last run). Not a HUGE difference but every little bit counts. Good stuff guys. I try to leave where I don't bog too much or spin too much. It gets difficult.
