Well that was the cars 6th run, and my 3rd for the day. Chris made the first pass, then I made 2 and on my second we got yelled at by the track for "leaking all over". It maybe dripped a drop of oil off of the tubo, there was nothing leaking when we got back to pits, and nothing happened after that. BUT we were worried we would get booted, so Chris wanted to get another pass. He ended up running twice (after a LONG wait). Then I wanted just one more pass... I wanted to break the 10.5 from earlier in the day, and well, I guess I got that acomplished!

I didnt believe it when Chris was yelling "YOU WENT 9.8!!!" when I got to the ticket booth. But then when the guy in the booth started reaming me out I believed it! I was hoping to go a best of 10.3 on that pass.

We are very excited that the car did so good. Midwest chassis did an excelent job building us a suspension that worked flawlessly! The car launched perfect (no big wheel stands) and went dead straight all night. We also want to thank Corey Simpson from Simpson perfomance for the great tuning. PTC for getting damn close on the converter with limited information (we ordered the converter before the motor was together, so it was mostly guesses on specs). We expected some small problems, but because of the great people and companys we delt with all along, we had NO problems at all!

Congrats! I went 10@134 in the nitrous car, 550rwhp, 3300 raceweight, that was my basis for my guess of 10.20 or better... Looks like you have a nice combo to go a 1.37 short time first time out.

Thanks john. Everything appears to be working great. Better then we expected. the only thing we did to the car the whole day was take a little air out of the tires. 20psi seems to be a pretty sweet spot.

Heads up? It was a fluke, your car is way cleaner, you have a front bumper....

We will put the bumper back on if it makes you feel better And according to some people at the track (who never even looked at the car) its some hobbled together POS anyway. So based on that logic there is a good chance we wont even be able to hold it together!

When do you think you are going to get your car on the track?
