Im looking for some screws to useto put in mine. I know that one guy on here had his come loose. What are you guys doing for screws, and how many?

I also got a can of this for cleaning:
* Special grease-cutting formula
* Foam action lifts dirt from plastic without scratching
* Non-streaking
* Leaves an anti-fogging/anti-static agent
* 19 oz spray can

No screws here! Took it up to around 145 a couple times this weekend and have about 2500 miles on with it, no issues. Its nice and light though and gets props everywhere I go, especially at the track this weekend.

Nice, what sealer did you use.

Did you use the GM molding or aftermarket?
Over 120 I try to put the windows up anyway. Maybe I won't put any in, I'd rather not.

Hi guys im, interested in the window 2. I do live in Australia, so im not quite up with things with you second nature of US cars. But I was told that the rear glass aswell as the front glass were major structural ties, as there is little to hold things together without the glass, is there any truth in this????

I have been looking trying to find a lexen replacement for the rear to match VFN replacement for the front. Looks like I might have done it!!!

the rear hatch is a bit more wobbly, but there is no loss of structural strength that I am worried about

Just FYI,

I have been 157 mph with my glued in back glass. So far so good.

Just stumbled across these... Looks like a great way to save weight and keep stock appearance...

Two questions...

#1 - I've seen guys posting in this thread that they have gone many miles without problem with a glued-in lexan... What about using these on a daily driver? I'd especially be worried about using the front windshield on a daily driver... Wouldn't small rocks cause major permanent scratching with Lexan? Could you still use the windshield wipers?

#2 - I would not feel comfortable installing them myself. Would any body shop be able to install these without difficulty?

Thanks!
