center console looks just like stock...only thing you have to do is close the front vents or you can see into the dash...

the blend door still works which is the hot/cold ****...

also the heat/ac **** works too as an on/off switch...whenever it is on any of the heat settings it is on...

I actually like this a lot. I was thinking of running some sort of tubing like that for my 93 to free up some space under the dash.

I know this is an old thread, but I am curious. The OP states "Also not that the heater thermo was relocated into the loop around portion of the heater core cover."

What is the purpose of the heater thermo?

so the heater works on low and med. it gets hot, so it cools the wiring, when its not full on high

Excellent got done with everything but the block off plate today since I didn't have a sheet large enough lying around

One question though

On top of the blower motor do I need that piece ? Has the little "door" that rotates up and down.

If I don't need it.. did you close off the opening that goes up into the cowl/windshield wiper area?

I removed the top piece on the fan...didn't block off anything else...it just won't get fresh air from outside any more and I didn't mind
