Sounds interesting.
Wheels up and stick shifting makes for some awesome racing.

Sounds interesting, but I'd need a slow class also or bracket race.

The question is now being asked how many of you would be more interested if it were a two day event instead of one. What do you think?

would you have the car count to drag it out over 2 days? id be up for either but would think one day would be enough.

I'll have to pass on this race, only for the distance to drive.
I live in Ft. Lauderdale.
Can't wait for something a little closer.

If it is a two day race, which it probably will be, then it will be to completely separate race days with atleast two classes each day and definitely three classes on Saturday. As far as car count, I have posted this on about twenty different sites and expect well over 100 stick cars

There will be q8, fastest 8 cars run their own race, then there will be quick stick class for cars running 11.99 or faster, and a street stick class for any et.

I just found out that Indy's engine diaper rule will not be mandatory for this year, but will be for next year. Also, camping will be allowed for the two day event and we can get rooms at a discounted rate at Comfort Inn & Suites five miles from the track if anyone is interested.

There will be a naturally aspirated quick 8, a quick stick, and a street stick class. $60 entry fee for quick 8 and quick stick, and $30 for street stick. Quick 8 field will be selected from the quick stick cars. Quick stick is cars 12.99 and faster. Street stick is basically open to anyone. There will be seperate races each day. The race will follow UMTR rules. If there are any questions on there rules, please see their website at www.umtrnorth.com.
