Solid Motor mounts...old idea, whole new design!

Just an FYI, I'd definitely use a hole saw and make it easier on yourself and just roll back the carpet. That's what I ended up doing after fumbling around with an extension and swivel sockets. The main one was on the drivers side by the gas pedal.

My cousin bought a set of these and I installed the motor for him. Definitely a nice piece and worked out well. But installing the mountless motor into a car that was a rolling chassis did give me two suggestions. Offering a nice Grade 8 bolt set as an option would be nice and putting a mark noting which side goes up would also be a nice touch.

5.3LJimmy,
Thanks for the feedback. They are made to work with all factory hardware and grade 8 hardware wasnt really required as these bolts are not in a very stressed application.
There is also a part number laser etched into the plate. Installing that so it is readable is installing them right side up.

Neither of these are really a big deal. Just thought it would be a nice touch to an already nice product. Thanks for the response Blake!

I agree that grade 8 bolts are not required. Just alot of times finding the correct size bolt in the required length can be tough. I had to go to quite a few places to locate some due to not having the factory bolts on the car. It would just be a nice option to have the bolts available for folks like me that live 30-45 minutes from a decent auto/hardware store.
Yeap. That is what I went by when I installed them but the header was contacting the k-member when I first bolted the motor in. This had me second guessing whether or not the mounts were on correctly. Turns out that I only needed to loosen the bolts and shift the motor a bit. An arrow or "top" stenciled on the mount would have saved me a little anxiety. Not having the factory stuff to compare to was the main issue.
