Default Solid Motor mounts...old idea, whole new design!

UPDATE Installed pics!
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-design-2.html

We have decided to step up and support the community that supports us. Some of you may recognize me as "xssive" here on the forums, and I am now posting officially as the Motovative Performance rep here on ls1tech.com

To kick things off, we are offering our solid motor mounts that are unrivaled by any others on the market. These pieces replace the stock rubber or poly clamshell mounts and can be used with any aftermarket or stock k-member that uses a stock style mount. Unlike competitors products, THESE WILL NOT RAISE YOUR MOTOR, and are a simple bolt in installation.

PM' me for pricing and ordering.

its about time someone made these. i have made a few sets for myself and some friends over the years and wondered why no one made these to sell them. i think the demand is definitely there. i was selling my camaro years ago and it had mounts that i made similar to these. i got more pm's about the mounts than i did the car. GOOD LUCK!

These look exactly like the Midwest Chassis mounts we have had in the car for about a year.

You know the eight savings over the poly in the clam shells. those are kinds heavy.

what finish are they? Cam I get a set raw to weld that little finger over the tube, that the motor would set on the notch for them my BMR Kmember has.

They are 1.3 lb lighter per side than a stock rubber mount and even more with the poly mounts.

I can send you a set raw for 5$ less. We actually are going to have to make a second production run on these, we sold out.

any idea what size the bolts going into an lq4 block are?

also, what kind of notch/finger is that guy talking about, im going to get a bmr turbo k member and wondering if it has any bearing on me...

The mount bolts should be 10x1.5 metric

Hes talking about the small metal tabs that stick out of stock and poly mounts that fit into the notches on some k-members to help in aligning the mounts when installing the motor
