Sorry to butt in on this and excuse my ignorance, but i live in the country and my car will see limited brake usage due to this but does get used for street dute primarily. With all the being said, could i get away with a light weight drag brake/spindle setup like the burkhart or other? I would LOVE to lighten this pig up!!

Thanks and please excuse my off topic intrusion.

Potholes and rough roads would be my biggest conern. If you don't have alot of that, and the roads are generally in good shape, and you drive cautiously... I think it would be fine.

I drove the drag brakes on the street a few times, stopping power was fine, but they did have alot of fade if you got into any stop/go.

I'll check on the CF rotors.

Deep potholes at high speed are not nice to any lightweight part. Having said that they are designed to take a wheelstand and not wince. So, you should be OK if you don't go offroading with them.

The rears are within ounces again of the strange. For the rear we just need to know what rear end you have.

cool, thanks steve. Is there any difference is rim room? Right now I have stock front stuff. and the willwood rear brakes, with the Ebrake inside the metal rotor hat. There not that light, I htink only 10per side. But have a deep rotor hat so clear the 15x10 7.5bs prostars with tons of room. so I didn't have to grind the caliper. Do both house rear brakes clear.

Probably 200 lasses on my first set of them and they never stuck or gave me any issues...

And considering that they're within a lb of strange, at over 150 bucks a set cheaper, I'll run them and feel pretty good about it. Stopping power, was always good IMO, I've driven cars with both, and I can say that neither one feels any different as far as braking power.

I've got nothing against the aerospace stuff... i'd like to buy anything BUT strange, as I haven't had the best customer service with them. But like Mike said, alot of locals I've talked to run strange, and a problem I've heard more than once was sticking calipers. I've even seen posts about it on the boards here. That said, I'd like to do the aerospace stuff front and rear because it's cheaper and Burkhart endorses it and I've seen you stand behind it more than once. If it doesn't work out I'll buy mark williams stuff and empty my bank account

Rim room is fine with any of the drag brakes.

That is the part number.
