Default removal of window wipers n cutting..

hey guys just want to see pics of egine bay after removing n cuting were the wipers go... want to get an idea of were to start cutting..

i already started cutting but i want an idea how they finish on the passenger side.. il post up pics tomorrow after i take them..

Mine is trimmed about an 1/8" from the glass all the way around and rolled under to the firewall. (I really don't care for the look when you use a brake on the replacement tin.)

I don't have any pics on here, but I'll try to get some.

It frees up so much room and looks great, it's tempting. I don't ever drive it in the rain either......

I have a 4 1/2" grinder with a cut-off wheel, a small electric sawzall, and a standard sawzall.

I wouldnt recommend a sawzall.... youre a little close to glass to be using something that moves like a small jackhammer...

Especially since if it gets snagged then it's going to jump. And jump all over that glass.

On that note... Since you're so close to the glass, is the heat from welding in the patch panel an issue?

Just go slow... Youre gonna have to stitch weld it anyway, just let it cool down some between ...
