Making your own windshield is a pain.... it sux trying to bend them. I feel for you... did you cut your winshield back further than mine??? I just marked around the windshield and cut it back to where it sits.

Hey Dennis, a pic would be a great help!!! A 315.... you sound like me. It should fit ok... I was running 12.5's before i did the mini tubs. I was under the car yesterday looking at my tubs and im thinking..... wish I had done full tubs!!! Anyway I finally got a round to relocating my lower controll arms, got one side all cut out. Now just got to do the other side and weld in the new tab. **** job I new that it would be, nothing beats burning yourself with sparks... as you cant get out of the way, or you cant see what you are doing!!!

I was looking at your bumper support, where did you get it from... BMR dont make them!! Was it burkhart?? I hope that you get your car to the chassis shop soon!! Catch ya.

Thanks man!!! You really cut yours right back.... Even looking at the pics, it is not that obviously cut back "to me anyway", but when you say the overhang is inches.. im looking at the pic harder. I can see it now, not quite as familiar with these cars as you guys are.

Being trimmed like that should make it easier to bend the lexen as there is not so much of a curve.

Your tinwork on the cowl looks a treat, you should be very happy with the finished result!!! Great work!!!

I hope that you got some things done, over the weekend!!!

I got bits and pieces done on the car, I will try get one of those bumper support.. thanks!! Catch ya.

Goodmorning Dennis, Its a nice day here.... have to take my little buddy down to the beach to stretch the legs!! I had a great day yesterday working on cutting and replacing the windshield cowl. I preety much cut mine from where the firewall is at 90 degrees on the drivers side, then squared across to the passenger side. probably have an inch or two left in the middle. Got a few pieces of sheet in yesterday, hope to knock it off today.
Atleast I will beable to remove my dizzy now, and I have enough room to run a 671 if I choose now. Well worth the effort, thanks for your input.... I hope your getting some things done, catch ya.

Chuck is a straight up guy.... I still dont understand where your wheels hit. I ran 12.5 ets on a stock width 10 bolt. I may beable to help you.... if you like.
Windsheild is welded just need to clean it all up and add a support for the screen. Just need to get the right info from our dragracing association to fix the screen to meet ANDRA requirements.
I will look up sgmp, you have the NHRA finals in october two!!! Man I wish we had that sort of turnout here!!! Our racing is very different... like at a meet there will only be my 98 and the madmans old car that pistol pete bought, everything else is different.
Anyway if you need some advice, show me were your problems are. I am on the other side of the world, but I may beable to help.
Have a good weekend, catch ya.
