Its all good guys.. JBM your car is very nice!!! The ride height is the main reason I took my car to Burkhart. I can slam mine down on 29.5 tires. But one thing I learned on my nova was stock suspension cars need a lot of travel in the suspension to work. So I'm with JBM I will sacrifice looks for performance any day!! I have most of my car sanded out and have a few small dents to fix then off to my buddies house for some color!! Later

Ive also wondered how far you can push "stock suspension" rules in regard to the lower control arms. I have offset bushings and even had the small half cut in two to move them in closer. If the tire was any further under the car the sidewall would hit the lca.

It just depends on where you race. Some of the cars on the bullet are a joke. Look like my old promod car not a ss car.

Hey man, I'm glad that your making progress on the paintwork prep..... it will be nice to see it in new bright colour!!! I havent touched my junk, my hood and hatch have been sitting just off the golf now for nearly 2 weeks, they havent been able to dock as the warfies have a strike here!! So im guessing that will happen very soon. The wagon is not far off now, there is alot of little things to tidy up. I had to wait untill the 3rd for our speedflow supplier to come back to work, but I ran every line available in teflon braid, not the cheapest way to do it but the lines are amazing!! I have run all the fuel and intercooler hoses now, im going to have to make a custom water fill canister as there is no room in there to get the supplied cylinder above the manifold. The header on the driverside still has to be dummied, then they need to be re-ceramic coated as they got cooked on the dyno!!

Enough about me, I look forward to seeing your new bodywork soon!!! Keep up the good work Dennis, catch ya.

Looking great man!!! You have been really busy, it's good to see it paying off!! You must be glad to see it nearly all the same colour, even primer!! Cant wait to see it all clean in the bright white. BTW that rear stance is KILLER, those tyres are tucked just nice!!! Got to hand it to chuck and the boys.

I have been slacking on my junk now..... I'm waiting on a few bits to get done on my Aussie car and it will be full steam ahead. Got to catch up with Chuck, to get this diff sorted..... im just spewin that I couldnt order it before christmas and take advantage of the deals!!

I have done one little thing, when I was spinning up some fittings for my wagon.... I took some extra time and finally spun up the washer gussets to finish my lower controll arm relocation. They came up well and will eliminate eggshapping. My bonnet and hatch, I should be able to pick up real soon!!
Catch ya.
