DHRACER, Lovin the build!! How much were your racing seats? Did you mount them at the same height as the standard ones? By the looks of mine, I think I wish to mount mine alot closer to the floor.

You have done so much on the build yourself, why dont you add your extra chassis hoops in yourself?? You can handle a mig ok, I welded 80% of mine myself. You just need to be patient. It saves you relying on others and when you need to add brackets for harnesses and such you can do it.

Think I will paint my cage like you did with a pressure pack, I was going to get it 2paked, but i would be shattered if I had to remove the paint for a touch up on the cage or to add extra hoops, Pressure pak is easy to touch up and is virtually unnoticable.

What engine you running??

Thanks man!! Your car is killer also. I mounted my seats low. I wanted plenty of clearance for my helmet. I have allready paid for the door x bars @ the chassis shop just wanted to leave them out while I was working on the car. The chassis guy is a friend of mine hes just covered up with work. I think im going to use the roll bar can paint on the cage. It seems to work ok. I bet its hard for you to get parts. I have a ton of stuff the get mounted just need to find the time to do it. Keep us updated on your car.

DHRACER, Your right it is hard to get parts here, as there is only 2 98 comaro's here. Mine and the madmans ride which he sold to pistol pete. Im in the same boat as you I have alot of parts sitting there ready to mount. BMR ultimat weight saving package, which has the same sexy strange brakes that you have, although your master cylinder is different to mine? I am supprised that with all the tube arms and k frame that we still need to retain the standard strut top, and funny connecting arm thing!! Thought they might have produced new ones.

Got the diff to sort out still looking at the BURKHART sheet metal diff, spoke to them they will supply one to the shipping yard, very happy. Keep the updates and the good work coming.

Thanks guys!! It was a sweet ride. It killed me to sell it. I will build me another one one day. I have been busy as hell working on houses which is good!!!! Means I can buy more car parts!!! I work for the firedept full time but I have a one man remodeling business to make extra money. I did get the shifter, gauges and the battery disconnect mounted. Still have no clue how to mount the radiator but i'm going to work on that tomorrow. I'll get some pics tomorow when I get off work.
