got the k member mounted, upper and lower a arms, along with the spindle and brakes. Couldn't mount up the afco's cause I have to change out the lower mount, and I couldn't find my snap ring plier set.
here are a couple quick pics of what I got done so far. I am not looking forward to alignment time.... haha
more updates tomorrow. time for some sleep then do it all over again tomorrow

Very nice build man! Glad to see that white car getting some love. Joey and I had big plans for that car, but he didn't like discussing anything with me about major modifications to the car befor he put the blade to it. So I figured it was better off to save friendship and walk away lol.

first couple pics are before we finished cutting everything off we wanted off.
the engine and trans, first time they have met! using a stock bell for mock up.
making some cuts for the front bars to tie into the front of the car. More on those in a few days.
we did a few other odds and ends, cut off someone's junk subframe connectors they put on, and going to make a custom set and tie it all in. again more on that in a few days.

got a few things done last week. Frame connectors finished. added some brackets on Burkharts tq arm crossmember(more on those after getting re-powder coated) trans cross member finished. front motor plate and mid plate finished.
Now its time to tie in the cage to the front of the car, that its happening this week. front mount fuel cell and radiator this week. and supporting the front bumper. Also going to fab up an adjustable PHR support brace.
I forgot my camera at the shop, but i got a couple cell pics to share.
I feel things are coming along nice!

been working some OT at work, and having to drive an hour to guys shop sure drags things out.
BUT Should have the car back to my garage Monday or Tuesday. Car did get certified last Friday, so that was a HUGE step for me.
Ended up mounting the fuel cell in the rear, making an encloser for it this weekend, pull the motor back out, and finish welding everything in the front end department, and bring it home to take it all apart, do a little body work and hit it with some fresh white paint. Final paint everything else, get some powdercoating done. wire the car and plum it. lots of work, but I been waiting and worked hard to get to this point.
SOOOO pic updates when its back home!!

finally got a little time to get some work done on it after it came home. Been really busy few weeks at work, and paint prep takes time.
anyways, painted engine bay getting ready to start assembly. had to final fit my new oil pan and windage tray.
My buddy DJ is helping me with paint, snap a quick pic of him in action!

anyways, waiting on my Jones Racing front drive mandral to get here(being as they are the ONLY ones who made a front drive to fit my 25% UD pulley.) space up and mount the alternator and vacuum pump. then its time to mount up the flywheel and clutch, bellhousing and finally transmission to be put in for the final time. hope that all gets done about middle next week, I got to work 12 hour shifts all weekend, so not much time to mess with it.
thanks for the positive words guys! I am trying very hard here to have a clean race car!

wow that looks really good! I like that mid plate style, and all the burkhart stuff.
Got any pics of that 4500 spacer on the intake plenum?
If you get a chance can you see if a stock 16 rim fits the spindle, of get a pic how it fits? And do you know the weight of that spindle with the areospace brake kit. Or better yet just the hub and the wheel studs. To bolt the wheel on with no brake parts, I have the weights of most of the other spindle setups, and brake setups. but not the burkhart.

I like those lower arms, with horizontal tabs for aftermarket stocks, and a limiter tab. Just what you need, no swaybar mounts, or stock T bolt shock tab junk.
What drop is the spindle, did you check at ride height of the rotors hit the lower ball joint cup?

been a very very long couple weeks, with not much progress other than the car is now in primer, all body work is complete. ready for paint. But untill it gets painted, its time to start putting it all back together, starting with the interior and wiring. a lot of cleaning up to do also with all the body dust and primer EVERYWHERE. lol but looks very good so far.
