BES my car has the same front end set-up. Frame rails are cut just about 2-3" further out than yours. Didn't realize they were cut till the other day after doing some comparison's on a friends car after studderin made that thread on YB and someone brought it to my attention.
NDRRA and Ultimate Street don't give a ****, but LSX might, as you said maybe if you show up they will let you run? I honestly don't see how it's an advantage if we all have to make a certain weight. Hell taking weight off the nose would be a disadvantage if anything, unless you scale the car to make up for it which most of us guys in our garages at home aren't doing.
