How much will lowering springs hurt ET's??
I am thinking about putting on a set of DMS lowering springs (want to get rid of the 4x4 look). How much do you think this hurts ET's? Is there another route to go.... I would like a combination of drag and handling. Open for suggestions

A prokit with relocation brackets and 1.3's are possible if PERFECTLY set up.

The lowering isnt so bad it is the spring rate that can kill you. If you have LCA relocation brackets and cut stock springs you could do 1.3 sixties in an A4 and 1.4-1.5 in a M6 with a good track. Everything else needs to be in place too (good TA, TA angle etc etc)

My car is lowered with Eibach Pro's. I simply love the looks of it... .. so I modified my suspension a bit to help out with the weight transfer:
Works pretty darn good, but havent been to the track yet to get 60fts. Soooon, very soon.

I keep hearing that it will ruin traction. When I had the Pro kit on my car, and bolt ons, I cut a best 60' of 1.50 & averaged 1.52. I did have LCA relocation brackets welded on. This was also with ET Streets, not Drags. Aparently it was set up "right". Although I just put the stuff together & hoped for the best.

Fat chance on doing that with drag radials, your gonna need some good stickeys.Been there done that myself lowered my car 1.5 inch with st springs , and relocation brackets, and LCA's and had the stock shocks, what a bad set up , seriously need some shocks to help out, that was 1.9s short times, put the stock springs back in and was cutting 1.70s all day on nittos, Unless your gonna play with the suspension I would leave the stock springs.
