Default Proud to introduce our new F-body fuel cells!

We are happy to introduce our trunk mounted aluminum fuel cell. It is made for a direct fit in the t-top well of 4th gen f-bodies (t-top racks must be removed). It holds 14.86 gallons, and is sumped with dual -8an output. It also features a single -8an return and a -8an vent. You will have to cut a small section of the t-top well out to accommodate the sump. The fuel cell also features 4 threaded mounting feet for an easy bolt in installation.

We take pride in our manufacturing, and these tanks have some of the nicest tig welds you have ever seen.

Pricing is going to run 359$ each. There is a around a 2 week build time as these are build to order.

PM me for details or ordering.

Are there any baffles inside for the sump? Do you have any construction photos?

The sump does have a baffle plate over it on the inside with 5 1.5" holes through it.

This is not a generic fuel cell, its made specifically for this application.

Installed pics coming very soon

^ I still think you could mount it if you made some brackets for the side that mount to the frame rails.

i was JUST thinking that!

Are there any weight benifights to using this one over a plastic tank? Just wondering as I like to keep all options open.

As mentioned above, this could easily be used with some brackets off the frame rails for you guys looking to completely remove the t-top well

The only problem I would see with the guys who have already removed th t-top well is if they have already laid down a flat floor. The cell appears to be pretty tall, and I imagine if you mounted it under a flat floor pan you would have some serious ground clearance issues.

By the looks of it, I am assuming in order to get 15 gallons, that cell must stick up and out of the t-top well right? Obviously you would need a bulkhead, but Im just trying to get a feel for how tall it is...

How does this fare for NHRA legal since its now in the engine compartment, does it need to have a bulkhead or something for protection from impact? I do like how it will give more clearance for rearend, suspension travel and exhaust options.

If the fuel cell is in the cabin then you will need to have a bulhead installed.

Why so big though? Hell I wouldn't mine one like that with say a seven gallon cell. Then you could make it smaller and mount your battery in that area also.

We wanted to give the most volume possible while freeing up room under the car for the more universal coilovers / antiroll bar setups. Most people already have the battery mounted in the spare tire well.

Don't like the weight of 15 gallons? Dont fill it up all the way Atleast this way you aren't limited to the smaller volume.

The final weight is 18 lbs

Cut a hole in the panel you welded over the t top area and drop the cell down flush - ish. Side brackets to hold it to the frame and you're done.
