Default Power steering or no power steering?

Are you guys with 10 sec cars running power steering? Just bought my car last month and still has power steering, a/c, etc. Gets kinda sqirley!

Raced a third gen for 12 years had no power steering on it and went straight as an arrow.

Well if it gets "sqirley" Thats probly not a P/S issue. But I guy I know runs 10s and has no power steering. Depends what you can live with or without. I dont have A/C but still have P/S but would like to switch to a manual rack when I do my K member.

haha, i know its me making it "sqirley", not like all over the road or anything but the dam thing is just too sensitive. Car made 577 at the rear on motor. its a m6 with drag radials right now but already bought a set of slicks havent put em on yet.
Just thinking about doing away with power steering?

Less weight and drag on the motor is always good. If you can live without it by all means rip that crap out. I dont what you mean by sensitive. Its like going from my truck to the car and feels completly different.

ya im talking about the steering wheel is sensitive compared to my other car, i barely move the wheel and the car moves. Just not used to it on a race car. Plus it has no sway bar

Why not just do a short belt at the track to bypass it.
