Scored mine today localy. It's a LT1 car with a LS1 Front end. Only down side is it is a T-Top car. Upside was it was super cheap and already stripped. I may do a hard top conversion. May not.

I saw a company making CF replacements for the t-top assembly, essentially giving you a hardtop and saving weight by being CF..

my wifes car was a v6 hardtop. we picked it up for cheap and it was actually a pretty nice car. i thought about selling it and starting out with something not as nice. in the end im glad because it only turned out better because of it.

Iv seen those. I am going to look into it. I may just run the T-Tops. Once the cage is in it doesnt matter anyway other than weight which I will have to add anyway.

Did you buy Paul's car from him? I'm not sure if it had a LS1 front end or not on it.

I started with a V6 '95 Firebird. Drove it from the hauler and into my driveway. Immediately started disassembly the very next morning

It's not very hard at all. Plus, you can sell the '93-'97 front end and recoup some of your expenses on the '98+ body panels.
