What PSI to start with on Hoosier DRS?
It looks like I might finally get to try out the 3600 stall tomorrow night and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what psi I should start out with on these 275 40 17 hoosier drs? Car just has minor boltons in sig and ss3600 stall. Last year when I used them I only had stock stall and I was able to get away with psi at 28-30 "or so"

Thats the thing, your going to get a range of opinions. Most should fall between 17ish to 25's. I always voted for as MUCH as you can before you start spinning. Track and prep conidtions will influence this.
I would say try 21 and record the data, if its not good enough and you spun a little, take some air out, if it bogged, add some and see how the car reacts.
Being a auto car you should be with in 1-2 tenths of your best/average time generally so its going to be a case of fine tuning.

Another vote for 17 psi, even though they are 17's. You want those sidewalls to flex. Unless you want to waste some runs. Remember, every wasted run includes a wasted burnout and money up in smoke.
Any time I have tried over 20 psi with any size drag radial, I have spun. Also, any time I have not done a burnout with at least 5 sec. of good smoke I have spun.
