I have been in contact with one of the Florida guy's at the track for the last few days. No mention of any problems with cars being under weight... Track report from the spectators was J-Rod in a LGM prepared car wins. No contraversy at all.

They were having trouble with the scale, but J rod checked his weight before his run and weighed 3175 before he ran. Then he added 100 pounds and weighed 3270.

Then after his next pass, he weighed 3200 on the scale. he ran over the scale on the next run and it weighed 3280 without doing anyting. J-rod never added another ounce of weight but weighed 3280 every other time except for used up fuel.

The digital scale was having problems with the way the scale zeroed each time. sometimes it read "Negitive" before the cars got on the scales.

Bottom line, J-rod weighed 3280 minus fuel each subsequent run but they zeroed the scale for each car before they weighed them.

Yeah, the scale read wrong for some cars, but once they figured out that the scale was junk, they figured out how to use them. No weight was added any time during the day.

J-rod was the winner, plain and simple.

Thanks

Nice vid!! I heard a couple of powershifts off the limiter Might be an even better time in store for it

I have seen the same problems with those types of scales before. I am sure everything was legit!

sounds like he's hitting the limiter on every **** at first, but when i listened to it again it sounded intentional..that how a power shift sounds? on the launch the car made the same type of sound..does it have a two step that wasn't turning off properly after the launch or something?

i don't know because i don't powershift personally.

sweet vid, that car flies man.

Im just saying what I heard. Let the rest of the crue get back so they can speak for themselves. You were not there, so let the ppl who were come back and straiten the story out.

We thought the scales were a bit off as well After every pass we weighed in and our weight changed by 30lbs each time. First pass showed us at 3330lb, then 3390lb, and finallly 3360lb. Outside of fuel and nitrous consumption nothing changed in the car alll day. Same drver every pass, and nothing was added or removed from the car.

Seems to me you jumped the gun, jumping on the BS train too early. Why is it soo hard to give another shop credit where credit is due?? Both cars are flying down the track and that is for sure. Since YOU weren't there, why do YOU bring up the weight issue.

I think its funny how some shop nutswingers find it necessary to try and discredit shops for little things because they either bought a junk combo and hate the rest of the world for it now, or just cant admit that another shop is producing much better results than that person!

Congrats Lou and hope to get my G5X3 to the track soon on the 175 shot and make some numbers to make you proud!

Congats to J-Rod, LG and Abs, and congrats to Brent and Cartek for that matter These H/C numbers are just awesome...
before you know it someone will come in and say J-rod ran at a moment of better DA, and it changed before Brent went.
Fact is racin is racin, and today, whatever the circumstance, J-Rod won.

This should be an annual event at minimum.

Why is it when LG puts up good dyno numbers people say they cheat.... then when they back it up at the track they say they're cheating there too. Whats is gonna take for everyone to give em the credit they deserve.

Congrats J-Rod and LG!!

By the sound of the guys voice at the end of the vid "OOHHH" I am guessing the other guys numbers were first. That thing sounds bad ***.
