There is a local Junk Yard that has just started do scrap metal and they have a scale. It is only like a month old. I go there and tell them I want to weigh my car. They say "make it quick". I get out and snap a pic and leave. Go home and rip more $hit out.

the only problem with weighing a car on a set of scales ment for heavy trucks is the tolerance levels will be like plus or minus 40 lbs. I was going to do the same with my car but after talking to the guys that run them i changed my mind. I weigh mine at the track.

Get a heat gun, scrape off all that seam sealer, and sound deadening in the trunk well, remove that junk headliner, it'll just be painted metal behind the headliner but imho it will look better then that torn up one. Good work, theres still weight to take out.

the dash really isnt that bad, i've had mine out a few times. if you do pull it to remove airbags and everything, you might wanna consider hvac block off plate, and removing the rubber/insulation mat against the firewall. but with this car being your dd i dunno your thoughts on no ac/heat.
