Default can M6 guys pull the wheels?

I have seen plenty of auto transbrake guys pull the front wheels at or local track.

Can m6 guys hang the hoops. And if so what does it take?

Ive pulled mine about 8 inches off the ground before. My car is really heavy in the front with all of the procharger stuff, battery, iron block, etc. Ive got full suspension and coilovers along with rear Qa1s.

Tosto's red Z used to pull the wheels all the time. Even saw it do it on the street.

The avatar image redz (or something like that) is a pic I took of it years ago.

Here ya go. I was not trying to do this. This was NA. I dead hooked. I adjusted the travel limiters so i do not do wheelies like this anymore. I usually pull the wheels about a foot off the ground. When i spray its a little less.

Ive only got mine up a couple inches. Still trying to figure out the shock settings. It would rise too fast then slam back down. I have since enlisted Madman for help. lol

My car was pretty lazy out of the hole. It really wanted 4.30 or 4.56 gears, instead of the 4.10 it had. I also found out that the torque arm was binding up at the front swing shackle because I moved the rear end around to make room for the 28" tires when I was going to spray the car. It still had the stock 75k mile beat to death trans in it in this video too.

I would think it would be easier with a six speed because of the initial shock from the high RPM clutch dump.

^^^^ Just the opposite the clutch cars shock the tires too much and unless they dead hook it is harder for a stick car. While the tq converter of an auto acts like a tq multiplier that is whay an auto will pull the tires easier off the line. It is a softer hit on the tires also.

Saw a blue LT1 once nearly on the bumper at launch, then back up again for 2nd and 3rd gears.
