Damn! I ordered that shorai battery less than 24hrs ago and its already here! Its tiny, weighs in at 4.5lbs vs my stock one 29.5lbs. 25lbs gone just like that from engine bay. I'll post up some pics after mounted

No doubt man. I'm a little skeptical on these though. While a few on this site had no issues, there has been some mixed feedback other places. Theres a guy on youtube where his battery caught fire on his bike. Seems to be good feedback on corvette forum and other car forums though.

Any of you guys know what your charging system output is at idle with a 25% pulley?
It says "Shorai Batteries require a charging system output of 13.1 Volts or higher at idle, and must not exceed 15.2 volts at maximum output."
My gauge usually says around mid 13s so I think I'm good.

Yeah a healthy alternator should always be in the 13 range. The regulators I wanna say are capped at like 14.6, so it should never exceed that. Even charging regular batteries higher then that will cause them to boil water out. It seems as if, if everything is working correctly there wont be much of an issue.....i really dont like lithiums potential for fire though.

Just a follow up with visuals. This is one of the threads that helped me decide on this battery. No experience on it yet, just hooked it up and test fired it. Cranked right up like the Red top I had, just 30 lbs lighter.
