Default New Drag Wheels are on: Weld 15" RT-S Black Anodized Wheels

I posted this in the Wheel & Tires section, but I figured I would it post here as well because it does pertain to drag racing.

Anyway, I finally got the new wheels and tires installed. Wheels are Weld RT-S black anodized. These are very nice wheels. Pics don't do them justice. Got a smoking deal on them, plus there's a $25/wheel rebate on the wheels.

Set up:
Front: 15" x 4" with Hoosier 26" x4.5" Drag Fronts
Rear: 15" x 10" with Hoosier 275/50/15 DR's

This set up is 38-lbs lighter than my previous setup (Prostars with MT Sportsman Front and 16" Prostar XP with MT DR's rear) and a whopping 81-lbs lighter than my street set up with 18" wheels and tires.

Here are some cell phone pics.

Looks great! That $25 per wheel rebate is nice too. I've got a polished set arriving Tuesday.

The rebate is directly from Weld in the form of a gift card. Here are the details: http://weldracing.com/press/wp-conte...ebate-Form.pdf

As mentioned above, no grinding needed for front or rear on stock LS1 brakes. These are specific for late model cars. The rebate applies if you buy them from an authorized dealer. I bought them from an authorized dealer (non-sponsor) lower than Jeg's or Summit. Free shipping, lug nuts and valve stems are included.

I had to grind the fins on top of the rear calipers for literally 3 seconds each, they just barely rubbed.
