Here's my car on 275's! I'd just take the spring isolator out like others have said. My car has the spring isolator out an also 1 coil cut off of the stock spring. For future reference, cars often won't hook after lowering because the lower control arm angle changed along with other angles. If you lower it any further than the spring isolator mod you'll need to get some sort of lower control arm relocation bracket, a adjustable panhard (to center the rearend), and a adjustable torque arm (to correct pinion angle). This is about as low as you can go with a 12 bolt otherwise the rearend hits the tank.

I'd start with a half coil and work your way down! My car is fairly light (2600-2700 without me) and a coil might be lower on a full weight car. My car shot up another inch or so when I took weight out.

Just a heads up. If you lower the back you may have an issue with the tire contacting the inner fender. I just got done mini-tubbing mine so I could drop it down. I had to beat the heck out of the wheel wells just to do the hose mod and couldn't go any lower. I have a Firebird though, and think the Camaro may have a bit more room.

I believe they have the same amount of room as far as the inner fenderwell goes. I have a 275/60 with stock wheel wells and have plenty of room all the way around the tire. I run a 7.5" backspace wheel if that makes any difference. However, 325's at stock ride height wouldn't fit and hit everywhere including the control arm. The only issue I currently have is the tank is fairly close to the rearend cover.
