That's crazy. 20psi I can see, because you may be getting more contact patch out of the tire, but at 28psi, it has GOT to be cupped out a little bit and contacting only the center section of the tread width. That is crazy!!

Whatever you're doing its working!!!! I'm seriously going to have to try going higher psi and see what happens. I usually start at 13psi cold and try to to stay around 14.5-15. My stock converter/3.42 LT1 will only 60' in the 1.90s so I don't have too much trouble with traction.

1st time with ET streets 17psi best I could do was 1.90 and it spun pretty hard.

Might try to lower the tire pressure see if that helps if not try a lower rpm.
