Finally got my car to the track to get some shakedown passes done and get some data. I've never really setup a car like this so all my launch settings were kind of a guess but at least it left and went down the track straight!
Here is the setup for those who haven't seen my build thread in the drag racing section:
01 Z28
Precision "pro mod" 91mm turbo
iron 408
tfs heads
comp shelf turbo cam
Motec M800 ecu
G-Force T-56 Trans
Tilton metallic 4 disc clutch
Strange s60 3.52 rear
cheapo moroso shocks/stock springs
umi torque arm
60 ft was bad at 1.40, but this was my first hit so it will get a lot better from here once i dial in the boost and launch control. Boost was set to a conservative 11 psi in all gears just to get a feel for the car and make sure it went straight. Before i made the pass the brakes seemed to be locking up on me randomly like the line lock wasnt turning off and were doing it more often after the pass so i decided to call it quits in case something was about to let go on the brakes and went back to the shop. Turned out to just be the cheap line lock switch was sticking so thats an easy fix.
Here is a pic of the car at the track and an in car video of the run.

I'd like to see 8s the next time out but low 9s i'd be happy with. I was really just happy that the car launched and went straight for the first hit. Now i have some data so i can really start tuning it now.

Looking good. You will like the spool more and more.
I'm so glad I didn't listen to all the people who told me I
Couldn't drive a spool on the street. Lol.
way more controlled when it does break loose hard.
Almost like you can just stay on the throttle and it will
Straighten itself out.
Up the boost and get back to the track!!!

Yup, that car drives itself strait. It felt slower on the street and track, but 60's alot better then ever and dose. No more dramatic driving the car AND the diff thu the power, and shifts.
